CQC quality statements checklist

The single assessment framework expresses expectations as quality statements written as 'we' statements from the provider's point of view. This checklist groups them under the five key questions with the evidence most likely to satisfy each.

How to use this checklist

  • Take one key question a month rather than all five at once
  • For each statement, name the evidence you would show an assessor
  • Where you cannot name it, that is your improvement action

Print it, share it with your team, or download it as a branded PDF.
