New providers
CQC registration support for new care providers
Registering with the Care Quality Commission is the first real test of whether a new service is run properly. AJG Advisory helps new providers and new Registered Managers get the application right, and leaves behind the audit, evidence and governance systems CQC will expect to see at the first inspection.
What registration actually asks of you
CQC assesses the provider, the Registered Manager and the systems behind both. An application is refused or delayed far more often for weak governance evidence than for paperwork errors.
- Statement of purpose that matches the regulated activities you apply for
- Policies and procedures that reflect how the service will really operate
- Registered Manager fit-person evidence, references and interview preparation
- Recruitment, training and safeguarding arrangements ready before you open
- Quality assurance and audit systems that satisfy Regulation 17
Registered Manager interview preparation
The registration interview is a structured conversation about the five Key Questions and the Quality Statements. We run a practice interview, cover the areas assessors press hardest on, and work through your answers with real examples from your own service.
Ready for the first inspection, not just the application
New services are usually assessed within the first year. Your audit schedule, evidence library, action plan and governance reports are set up in My Care Compliance from the start, so the first inspection is a matter of showing what you already do — £69.99 per month for the whole organisation, first month free.
Support after registration
Monthly consultancy at £60 gives you two hours of dedicated remote support, which most new Registered Managers use for early governance questions, notification decisions and their first audits. A mock CQC inspection before the first visit is £395 for subscribers.
